The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a school shut down across the world. Globally, over 1.2 billion children are out of the classroom. The same holds true for adult learning. All training work has come to a grinding halt. The progressive companies have started engaging with their employees digitally and many employees are utilizing the lockdown period to upskill themselves through online courses.

As a result, educational landscape has changed dramatically, with a distinctive rise of e- learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms. Research suggests that online learning has shown an increase in retention of information and takes less time. This means that the changes imposed by COVID-19 virus will be here to stay.

It is therefore, imperative that the trainers and educators gear up to meet the challenges of online education.

To achieve this, we need a Paradigm Shift.

Transformation like this requires Radical Changes.

It involves fostering a team, community & network-based teaching through e-Learning. Those trainings would have to be industry and learner focussed and incorporate new training methods, built to meet the complexities of the 21st Century.
