Augmented reality (AR) is changing the way we shop furniture online! The latest feature can be found in Amazon’s iOS and it’s named AR View. The users will be able to place their wanted furniture into their home and check how will look before you purchase them.
The Augmented Reality app applies to everything – we can start from furniture to speakers, coffeemakers and even lamps. It’s very simple to use but looks like it has a lack of products in the stock, which of course, can be revised once the app gets more users.
But AR View works well with the relatively few items currently on offer. Just allow the app to find a flat surface (which can be a struggle if you have white tile floor and white walls), tap the screen, and then the chair or bookcase appears in your house through the camera view.
