The multimillion-dollar fake degree industry can be eradicated from the roots

We are living in a world where there is no time for anything. Social media and so many other distractions keep us busy and people can easily become a victim of the websites offering fake degrees for a few dollars. It is always very tempting to get a degree without having to put in time and effort into it.
When you are lying in your CV or buying a fake diploma, you risk becoming a fraud and be treated like one. You can ask Wade Jordan, who has been prisoned for three years because he had lied in his CV.
The law relating to lying on an individual’s CV falls within the purview of the Fraud Act 2006 in the UK and would be considered fraud by false representation:

2 Fraud by false representation.

This section states:

(1) A person is in breach of this section if he –

(a) dishonestly makes a false representation, and

(b) intends, by making the representation –

(i) to make a gain for himself or another, or

(ii) to cause loss to another or to expose another to a risk of loss

So please think, not once, not twice, but many times before even thinking of buying a fake diploma or make a false statement in your CV!
