I had the opportunity to participate in a “Be a Professional Online Trainer Course” of Klaspad, that is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of teachers and trainers. As a senior lecturer of a state-owned higher education institute in Sri Lanka, I found the three-day programme very informative and useful to develop my skills in online teaching. 
Even though I have been working as a lecturer for many years, teaching both undergraduates and professionals, online teaching is new for me. Our institute converted all the lectures online during the COVID pandemic, and I had to self-learn many techniques to make my lectures attractive to the students and we were also developing online courses. The need to improve my skills in the online platform made me register for the course and I am happy about the decision I made in choosing this course with Klaspad. 
The sessions were conducted by a well experienced panel where the required information was delivered clearly with real time examples and demonstrations. The support extended by the trainers and support staff was appreciable. There were immediate responses for any additional clarifications or quarries sent via email or in WhatsApp. The most effective part was having a WhatsApp group where we were able to contact the team even after the session. The assessments were impressive where we had the opportunity to reflect on our learning during the session and it gave hands on experience in developing an online course.
